For a couple of days we had stunning sunny weather where we are in NZ, so we decided to get some good footage of a well known short 20 min hike(one way) in Raglan.
We went down the Bryant Track, which you can access just off the road beside Camp Raglan (On Wainui Road on the right before you get to Manu Bay) and ended up at the main beach shortly thereafter. Along the way was absolutely breathtaking with the sun low in the sky. We passed alook out on the way.
The tide was low, so we made our way down to some rocks where we found lots of mussels ripe for the picking. We picked a couple, and then attempted to make baskets out of flax to carry them home in. Some baskets were better than others….
Then as the sun started to set we headed back up the trail. It was an amazing chill evening on the beach.
