Where did you start from?
Drive nearly to the end of Tui Road, Te Aroha, there is a carpark on the left hand side. You know if you have gone to far as you will reach a locked gate. Tui road is shortish so you will definatly find the carpark.
How long each way?
Tui Road to summit 2 hours 30 min, on the way back down sit took us 1 hour 15.
What were the highlights?
- The views at the top were spectacular
- the beautiful forest
Any tips?
- -Print off a map o you don’t get lost.
- Bring a head torch as we wish we did as when we headed back it was getting dark.
- Bring you swimwear to take a dip at the Te Aroha Mineral pools see link
