I would definately reccomend this overnight hike it cost us $80 a night each or you can pay $1200 a night to book out the whole place.
HIGHLIGHTS
- The views from Dundle Hill cabin
- Yoga in the sun in the morning
- Scrabble and wine at night by the fire
- Having the whole cabin to ourselves
- The sunshine
- Feeding the eels
- walking to the cave (off track) was awesome to see the huge stalactites
- Having pots, pans, plates, gas, pillows, and cookers already at the hut
- Have access to showers(cold) and flushable toilet
- To have safe drinking water at a hut (we didn’t have to boil it)
- Having access to dry firewood
- Walking a different paths each day
- Following the yellow markers was a bit of challenge sometimes but made it fun
- The drive to the start of thwas realively short from Raglan 1 hour 20 min
- Trying freeze dried camping meals for the first time cottage pie and morican lamb so yum and so light to carry a must to take next time
Challenges
- Kirsten getting shocked by the electric fence (was kinda funny)
- the hill at the end to get to the cabin
- The walk out on the last day part of it was along a gravel road (we were just tired lol)
- getting around the tree fallen over in the middle of the track we took a detour it was sweet az
- Walking on a few paddocks where it was muddy and stock had made the ground hard to walk on
