As the sun was shining on this particular day in February, Elaine and I decided to head to the cliffs and do some rock climbing. This particular rock climb was very picturesque, a lovely climb on the cliffs and by the sea in Hong Kong.
The climbs progressed in the degree of difficulty as we headed around the cliffs. We were lucky to have some awesome guides take us on this adventure. I found them on a Facebook search of “Hong Kong outdoor rock climbing”, and found their Whatsapp number, 852 91956067.
The day was awesome for it. The sun was shining, which is very important for rock climbing, as the drier the rock is the more enjoyable it is to climb. We started our day in a taxi and headed up a mountain. Halfway up the mountain we got out and followed a track off the road that went down into the bush and then led us up to the cliffs by the sea.
The spot was called Cape Collinson. We had various climbs to choose from, some of which were harder than others. We started with some easier climbs and worked our way to some of the harder ones.
Overall the day was great! We were knackered at the end of the day, but stoked from soaking up some sun and having been challenged by nature. Thanks to our guide for showing us this great climbing location in Hong Kong! We are so appreciative for the experience.
